Hi everyone:

Please forward to your teams/families.......

Our league was well represented at the Great Lakes Zone Meet this past weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. 32 KYCSL swimmers competed against other top swimmers from the states of Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana. Our KY swimmers did very well and I thoroughly enjoyed watching them swim and compete at such a high level. The KYCSL teams all hung out together in a team area so I also enjoyed the opportunity to visit briefly with many of the swimmers from teams other than my own (13-overs from BYB, BCY, and AAY). Additionally, KY Zone t-shirts were furnished to every swimmer which all the swimmers proudly displayed throughout the meet, as did some of the parents in the bleacher area! Special thanks to Sarah Holman at "10th planet" for the shirts!! Our league continues to improve with quality and very talented swimmers, programs, and coaches. I fully expect this trend to continue into next season especially coming off the upcoming Olympics. I do hope that all of the swimmers in our league who qualify for Zones from all of our teams are able to attend this meet in the future. Next year's meet is going to be held in Flynt, Michigan on March 20-22.

Here is a brief synopsis of how our league swimmers did at the meet:
